RAIPUR,CG: Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain on Wednesday asked the officers of the Cooperative Department to conduct training programmes for the members working under the cooperative sector. He has asked the officials to ensure the use of warehouses built under cooperative societies.
He was holding a virtual meeting of the State Cooperative Development Committee at Mantralaya, Nava Raipur in Atal Nagar.
The progress of implementation of various schemes run in the field of cooperation under the vision of prosperity through cooperation of the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, was reviewed. A detailed discussion regarding various sectors under cooperation in the state was discussed.
Officials stated that to increase the income of primary agricultural credit cooperative societies, many new works including Jan Aushadhi Kendra, Common Service Centre, operation of petrol pump, operation of gas agency and others are being given to these societies by the Government of India.
