RAIPUR,CG: Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao said that 48,000 applications out of around 1,30,000 applications were resolved during the Jansamasya Nivaran Pakhwada, which was held from July 27 to August 10 in the urban areas of the state.
Talking to media persons at his official residence in the state capital on Wednesday, Deputy Chief Minister Sao said that around 1,30,000 applications were resolved during the Jansamasya Nivaran Pakhwada, in which 48,000 applications were resolved on the spot.
To fulfill the demands received during the Jansamasya Nivaran Pakhwada, Rs 900 crore has been approved for infrastructure development in the urban areas of the state. Rs 450 crore has been sanctioned for new development works and basic facilities development from the infrastructure development fund and Rs 450 crore has been sanctioned from the 15th Finance Commission.
58 applications related to property transfer out of 1,117 were resolved. 21,701 applications related to ration cards were received, in which 11,541 applications were resolved. 7,613 Ayushman cards were distributed in the camps. 1,408 applications related to land dispute and revenue cases were resolved, in which 3,000 applications were resolved.
30,489 applications related to electricity, street lights, stray dogs, stray animals, encroachments, illegal constructions and other problems were received, in which 11,146 applications were resolved. Remaining applications have been sent to the concerned departments for redressal of grievances of the people, said the Deputy Chief Minister.
Rs 760 crore has been approved for construction of sewerage treatment plant in civic bodies, he added.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai-led BJP government has sanctioned Rs 1,250 crore within eight months for various development works in the civic bodies of the state. Basic facilities and infrastructure development works are being carried out in all the civic bodies of the state. There is no dearth of funds for development works in the civic bodies of the state, said Arun Sao.
