IAS play key role in Government schemes implementation: CM

RAIPUR,CG,INDIA: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai emphasized the critical role of IAS officers in effectively implementing government schemes during a gathering of the Chhattisgarh IAS Association at a private hotel in Raipur.

Addressing the officers, he stated, "IAS officers have a major responsibility in bringing the government's initiatives to the grassroots level."

Members of the IAS Association presented a special memento to the Chief Minister, crafted by differently-abled children. Sai acknowledged the unique contributions of the officers, likening their commitment to that of politicians. “Both IAS officers and politicians share the same goal: public service. Like us, you are often occupied with responsibilities that leave little time for family, yet the dedication remains towards the welfare of society,” he added.

Highlighting the importance of leaving a lasting legacy, the Chief Minister urged the officers to work in such a way that they are remembered for their service. “Your work should create a lasting impact. People should remember you as officers who listened and acted swiftly to solve problems,” he remarked, stressing the need for teamwork in driving Chhattisgarh's development.

Chief Minister Sai also referenced Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India by 2047, stating that the state has a strong administrative team that will play a crucial role in achieving this goal.

The event was attended by Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Inspector General of Police Ashok Juneja, IAS Association President Manoj Pingua, Secretary R. Prasanna, and other prominent officials.
