RAIPUR,CG,BHARAT: The Model Code of Conduct has come into effect with the announcement of the schedule of by-election for Raipur Nagar (South) Assembly by the Election Commission of India.
Under election expenditure monitoring, 19 sector magistrates have been appointed in the entire district to monitor the election expenditure. Also, nine flying squad teams (FST), 12 static surveillance teams (SST) and two video observation teams (VVT) have been formed. Along with this, four static checkpoints have also been established in different areas by the District Election Officer, Raipur for strict monitoring of election expenditure.
These static blocks have been established at Devpuri under Tikrapara police station, Bhathagaon under Purani Basti police station, Agrasen Chowk under Azad Chowk police station and Subhash Stadium under Kotwali police station.
