RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday underlined the need for speedy rectification of revenue records on priority.
He was holding a review meeting with Sakti district-level officers and Dabhra block at Chandrapur rest house complex. He is on a visit to Sakti under ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’ (public direct interaction).
Pinpointing issues raised by the public and his announcements, he said officials should ensure prompt implementation of the announcements. No person be deprived of the availing benefit of the government schemes due to non-update of revenue records.
The work of rectification of revenue records including transfer, payment, and partition be taken on priority. He asked to pace up the work of road construction and for regular monitoring.
“There is a lot of enthusiasm among the residents with the creation of the new district. They carry high expectations as well. All the officers need to work efficiently to win and strengthen the trust of people in government and local administration”, said Baghel.
Baghel called for quick disposal of pending compensation cases of Saradih and Kalma barrage. The rightful owners should be given their dues. The revenue records are also updated.
He also asked for change in the inactive Gauthan Samitis. Anaemic women are given the benefit of hot meals regularly.
The officials were asked to identify the eligible people in the villages and link them with the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhoomiheen Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana’ by holding campaigns. The scale of reach under the Haat Bazar Clinic Yojana should be extended to maximum villages.
The education department officials should ensure the issuance of caste certificates to cent per cent school students in the next 15 days. He said that well-equipped community halls will be established in flood-prone areas.
