Foreign, state participants say ‘bye’ to Chhattisgarh

RAIPUR: The foreign and different state dance participants of National Tribal Dance Festival began to return by saying ‘Raipur Bye’ and ‘Chhattisgarhia Sable Badiya' notes on Friday.

The 10-ten member Mongolian dancers having performed ‘Jorun Jorun’ said they wholeheartedly enjoyed the festival. The team leader Inakhbold said it is his maiden visit to Raipur. It has left behind a memorable experience.

The 10-member Indonesian team thanked Chhattisgarh for its hospitality, before leaving Swami Vivekananda Airport. Rabia Adin, team members said the National Tribal Dance Festival provided a platform for interaction with artists from different places.

A team of artists from Togo and Maldives also left from Raipur. They expressed their desire to participate in the event here again.

Devashish, a team member of 15 participants from Tripura said the traditional state cuisine ‘Cheela’ and ‘Farah’ was good.

The Mizoram state team 22 members left saying ‘Bye Chhattisgarh’. Terming the event wonderful also praised the ‘Chhattisgarhi cuisine’. They would like to visit the state again.
