RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday dedicated a mobile ‘Jan Sewa’ (public service) vehicle at Arjuni village of Dongargaon development block in Rajnandgaon district.
He was on a visit to Arjuni as part of Bhent Mulaqat Abhiyan (direct public interaction). The service will be operated through Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club.
The vehicle will be used to hold eye checkup camps and collect blood through blood donation. The Club will hold the camps in villages and remote areas, an official communication said.
The vehicle is equipped with manual lens checking as well as state-of-the-art machines, which will also provide computerized eye checkup and internal eye examination.
Similarly, it has a blood storage facility after collection of blood. The screening is done before storage for any illness among the donor. It is then sent to the blood bank.
