He was addressing the Amla Navami and Diwali Milan Samaroh organized by the Utkal Vipra Samaj at Shree Jagannath Temple, Gayatri Nagar, here after inaugurating the event.

He said everyone should work together so that it sends a positive message to society.

Senior dignitaries and women of Vipra Samaj were honored.

Expressing thanks for participation, Samaj president Lakshman Satpathi said women had done excellent work and needed to be applauded for their efforts.

A fancy dress competition was organized for the children. The Alpana (Jhoti) competition was organized by the women's group.

Satpathi announced that in the future a ceremony of "sacred thread Sanskar" and ‘Yuvak Yuvati Parichay Sammelan’ will be held.

Santosh Samantarai conducted the event and information about the event was shared by the secretary Usat Mishra.
