RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company (CSPTCL) Managing Director Ujjwala Baghel reviewed the progress of construction of high tension tower and sub stations in dense forest of Gariyaband district on Sunday. Underlying the need for taking the work at a faster pace, she asked the officers to complete the work on time by ensuring quality. The construction of 132 KV Indagaon sub-station at Mainpur and Devbhog in Gariyaband district is in progress. The company officials indicated that the work is expected to be completed by the end of December. Apart from it, the work of laying the Nagri-Indagaon 132 KV extra high tension tower line has been completed. The company said that at present the electricity transmission system of Mainpur and Devbhog is through 33 KV lines, which pass through dense forests from Gariyaband and Nagari (Dhamtari district), whose length is around upto 125 kilometres. Once energised the issue of low-voltage in the forest area settlements will be resolved.
