BILASPUR (CG): The Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park (RIPA) scheme is providing space for entrepreneurship to young individuals. One such youth achieved success by running the bamboo craft unit.
Under the livelihood-oriented activities in RIPA, Mandram Tekam established a bamboo craft unit in Dhauramuda Gram Panchayat of Bilha block of Bilaspur district.
He is presently engaged in manufacturing tree guards and ensuring employment to local youth of the village. The Forest department Bilaspur had already placed an order for Rs 3.6 lakh. The unit has already manufactured 2,000 units of tree guards.
