NAVA RAIPUR (CG): Border Security Force (BSF) with Chhattisgarh Fire and Emergency Services, Raipur conducted a maiden Fire safety awareness programme at Central Secretariat Building Nava Raipur on Monday.
The officials from all departments of the central secretariat namely CPWD, Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation (PESO), Survey of India, Income tax Appellate Tribunal including BSF participated.
Deepak Koushik of Fire and Emergency Services briefed on it. The expert team gave a demonstration and imparted hands-on training to the staff regarding the operationalization of different types of fire extinguishers, fire safety equipments and fire safety drill.
The drill also included simulation of fire outbreak in the building premises and measures to contain and prevent it from spreading to other areas with all fire safety measures.
