RAIPUR: A website page was launched on Friday, which will help in the execution of the process related to connecting to the transmission grid of producers producing electricity from biomass.
It was held during the meeting of the Subcommittee for Operation and Protection (SOP) at the State Load Despatch Centre of the Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company. The power generation producers from biomass were concerned about the operation and security of the grid.
Ujjwala Baghel, Managing Director of Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company chaired the meeting of Senior officers of Generation, Transmission and Distribution Company.
Executive Director KS Manothia said that on the instructions of the Chhattisgarh State Electricity Regulatory Commission, the Subcommittee for Operation and Protection has been formed, its purpose is to work in harmony between production, distribution, sub-stations and load despatch centers as per the provisions of the Transmission Grid Code.
The discussion was held for running the transmission system smoothly. The state's power generation status and increasing demand were explained in detail.
