RAIPUR: The Collector and District Election Officer Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure has initiated “Sweep Car Rally” of women on November 5 at BTI Ground, Shankar Nagar for motivating local voters to vote.
The rally will start at 8 am on Sunday and will pass through the main road and reach the Science College Ground, G.E Road. Local women will participate in the car rally. The cars participating in the rally will be decorated with voting awareness slogans, the women car drivers giving the best message will be rewarded by the district administration. Women wishing to participate need to register.
Officers and employees of all departments including State Election, District Election, Police, Municipal Corporation, Women and Child Development Department, Education, Health will also participate in the car rally.
