RAIPUR/ PANAJI: Chhattisgarh State on Friday won one gold, one silver and four bronze medals taking the tally to 12 in the National Games underway at Panaji, Goa.
On Friday in Mini Golf, five medals were won. One gold, one silver and three bronze medals on the 8th day of the event.
The gold medal was won in Men’s Double event (Neel Sagar and Mehul Sahu), Silver in Mix Double event (Vandana Minj and Jayesh Tiwari), bronze in women team event (Shivani Soni, Chain Kumari Nishad, Seema Yadav and Ranjeetha Xalxo), Women Single event (Prerna Singh) and Men’s Single Event (Sanjeev Nayak).
In Wrestling event, Avdhesh Yadav in the 87 kilogram Greco-Roman category won the bronze medal.
Thus, Chhattisgarh has 12 medals (02 Gold, 02 Silver and 08 Bronze Medal) in its tally.
