CG NEWS: Shailesh Daga, Pawan Sadija became first time winners

RAIPUR, CG: Men's Singles (Age 40 Winner Shailesh Daga (Raipur), and Men's Singles (Age 60) Winner Pawan Sadija (Raipur) are first time winners in the Second Chhattisgarh State Masters Ranking organized by Rajdhani Table Tennis Association District Raipur.

The event was under Chhattisgarh Veterans Table Tennis Committee of Chhattisgarh Table Tennis Association played at Sapre School Table Tennis Hall, Raipur.

Secretary of Rajdhani Table Tennis Association, District Raipur, Vinay Baiswade informed that the chief guest of the closing and prize distribution ceremony of the competition was Pradeep Janwade, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Veterans Table Tennis Committee and presided over by Pradeep Joshi, Vice President, CTTA.

Baiswade said that in Men's Singles (Age 40):- Winner - Shailesh Daga (Raipur), Runner-up - Rajneesh Oberoi (Durg) 2-0 and third position was Nikhil Bani (Raipur).

Men's Singles (Age 50):- Winner - Sanjay Dubey (Bilaspur), Runner-up - Rajesh Aggarwal (Raipur) 2-1 and Third – Rakesh Yadav (Raipur Metropolitan)

Men's Singles (Age 60):- Winner - Pawan Sadija (Raipur), Runner-up - Shane Stephen (Raipur) 2-0 and Third – Sushant Borvankar (Raipur).

Men's Singles (Age 65):- Winner – K. Ravi Shankar (Bilaspur), Runner-up - P.N.Majumdar (Korea) 2-0 and Third – Ajit Banerjee (Raipur)

Men's Singles (Age 70):- Winner – K.B. Singh (Raipur), Runner-up- H.D. Chaudhary (Khairagarh) 2-1 and Third – Pradeep Sood (Durg)

Women's Singles (Age 40):- Winner -. Divya Amde (Raipur Mahanagar), Runner-up - Swati Banthia (Raipur) 2-0 and Third is–Pramila Dewangan (Raipur)

Women's Singles (Age 50):- Winner - Renuka Subba (Raipur), Runner-up - Pramila Thakur (Raipur Mahanagar) 2-1 and Third –Ira Pant (Raipur).

The main judge of the competition was international umpire Praveen Nirapure and assistant judge Mohd. Miraj was Pranay Chauhan.
