RAIPUR, CG: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister paid tribute to the sacrifice of Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh, Sahibzades of the tenth Guru of the Sikh community, Guru Gobind Singh on Veer Bal Diwas.
Recalling the sacrifice of the sons of Guru Gobind Singh, the Chief Minister said that the sons of Guru Gobind Singh have made the country proud with their bravery and valor. The youth should take inspiration from their sacrifice.
Sai will honor four brave children in a program organized by Chhattisgarh Civil Society on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas on December 26. Amar Jyoti Zahire saved her friend from drowning during a picnic and would be honored with Sahibzada Ajit Singh Gallantry Award. Chhaya Vishwakarma saved her sister's life from a mad dog and to get Sahibzada Jujhar Singh Gallantry Award. Janvi Rajput saved her brother's life from electric shock and to get Sahibzada Zorawar Singh Gallantry Award. Bhameshwari Nirmalkar saved two girls from drowning in the pond and will be honored with Sahibzada Fateh Singh Gallantry Award.
