Raipur, CG: The Nick couple from Greece on a visit to Chhattisgarh as part of tourism witnessed the exhibition on former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Nalanda Parisar, Raipur.
Joint Director, Public Relations Department, Surendra Thakur briefed them on formation of Chhattisgarh, which is much larger than Greece. The former PM is being remembered for his contribution in making smaller states and pushing development, a predominantly tribal state.
Thakur said December 25 being the birth anniversary of the former PM, the day is celebrated as Good Governance Day. Nick said that they came to know about the exhibition accidentally and it turned out to be a great way to know the politics of Chhattisgarh and India.
