Raipur, CG: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has pledged that to mark the consecration ceremony of Shri Ramlala at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple on January 22 in Ayodhya, it will be dry day in the state
The Chief Minister said, “It is our good fortune that Chhattisgarh is the maternal birthplace of Lord Shri Ram. The life consecration ceremony of Shri Ramlala is going to be held at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya on January 22. There is an atmosphere of happiness and festivity among all the people in the entire state. Like Diwali, lamps will also be lit in homes. The state will have a dry day.”
Sai said that a consignment of vegetables will be sent to Ayodhya from vegetable producing farmers from the state. Earlier on December 30, with the help of rice millers, 300 metric tons of fragrant rice was sent to Ayodhya for offering.
Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government celebrated Good Governance Week in the state from December 25 to January 2. “Our resolution and ideal of good governance has been Ramrajya,” he added.
