Raipur, CG: Chhattisgarh Minister of Forest and Climate Change, Water Resources, Skill Development and Cooperation, Kedar Kashyap took charge in the ministry on Wednesday after performing formal puja. His family members and departmental officials were present.
Kashyap said Chhattisgarh is moving towards realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's resolve of ‘Developed India’. The ministry will play an important role in the proper development of all sections of the state including forest dwellers and tribes.
“We have resolved to work for the welfare of our Annadata farmer brothers, agricultural labourers, women and all citizens of the state. Our government has been working towards development since the first day after its formation. We all will contribute our 100 percent towards making Chhattisgarh prosperous,” he added.
Kashyap has handled the responsibilities of many departments including School Education, Tribal Welfare Department, Public Health Engineering from the year 2003 to 2018.
