Raipur, CG: Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao has said that it is the priority of the government to provide the benefits of government schemes to the last person of the society. 20 Baiga tribes youth get appointment letters as guest teachers.
Sao expressed these views in the special mega camp organized under PM Janman Yojana at Khudia of Lormi development block in Mungeli district.
For the first time, such a scheme has been made in which the government is reaching the doorsteps of villages and the poor. Underprivileged beneficiaries are being benefited by providing information about the schemes, he said.
The camp was especially for the socio-economic progress of the vulnerable tribal group and to provide the benefits of various government schemes to the Baiga tribal families on one platform.
Sao provided appointment letters as guest teachers to 20 Baiga tribal youth in the camp.
Sao said with the formation of the new government, we have started fulfilling Modi's guarantee. First of all, it was decided to build houses for 18 lakh poor families. The pending bonus amount was transferred to the accounts of 12 lakh farmers of the state. He said that 21 quintals of paddy per acre will be purchased at the rate of Rs 3,100 per quintal.
Sao flagged off three ambulances from the camp to provide better health facilities to the Baiga tribal families of the remote Vananchal region. Health department officials said that through these ambulances, health facilities will be provided to the people by setting up camps on different days in the villages of Achanakmar area.
