EPFO Raipur Organises Voluntary Blood Donation Camp, 55 Employees Donate Blood

RAIPUR, CG (INDIA): The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Regional Office, Raipur, in association with Shivnath Blood Bank, organised a voluntary blood donation camp at its Pandari premises. The initiative, proposed by the office’s Cultural Committee, was lauded by the Regional Head as an “innovative and inspiring step.” Leading by example, he himself volunteered to donate blood.

A total of 76 individuals underwent blood screening, out of which 55 successfully donated blood. Notable among the donors were Jayvadan Ingle, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner–I; Gaurav Dogra, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner–II; and Sudhanshu Niketan Mishra.

Later in the evening, a felicitation ceremony was held in the office auditorium to honour the blood donors. Rajesh Tiwari, Director of Shivnath Blood Bank, along with his medical team, was welcomed on the occasion, and all donors were presented with certificates and mementoes.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Ingle said, “Blood donation is the greatest donation. Such camps should be organised every six months on national festivals so that all employees can benefit from this noble cause.” He also appreciated the efforts of the Cultural Committee and the Shivnath Blood Bank team.

In his concluding remarks, Rajesh Tiwari congratulated everyone on the successful conduct of the event and expressed eagerness to hold more such programmes in collaboration with EPFO Raipur. Also present on the occasion were Vikas Shukla, Assistant Director (Rajbhasha), along with other officials.
