RAIPUR,CG: The working group formed on good governance in the first meeting held on Thursday held in-depth discussions on employment, public participation, transparency and technology.
It is part of the series of meetings and discussions that are continuing in the Chhattisgarh State Niti Aayog, regarding ‘Chhattisgarh Vision Document 2047’. Meeting was held at the Commission’s office in Nava Raipur.
NITI Aayog member Dr. K. Subramaniam, Advisor to the Chief Minister Dr. Dhirendra Tiwari and Secretary to the Chief Minister Rahul Bhagat were present.
Subramaniam asked the working groups formed by the State NITI Aayog to prepare the Amritkal Chhattisgarh Vision @2047 document to submit the necessary information within the time limit.
Secretary of the Department of Good Governance and Adoption and Secretary to the Chief Minister, Rahul Bhagat said that on the initiative of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the members of the Council of Ministers of Chhattisgarh Government had intellectual discussions with the renowned experts of the country regarding the development of state Chhattisgarh and on good governance.
A presentation was given regarding the major goals set for good governance, major challenges and departmental vision. Advisor to the CM, Dr. Dhirendra Tiwari also presented important facts for good governance regarding the vision document.
Secretary of the Law Department, Rajneesh Srivastava gave detailed information about the important facts related to law and order and legislation for good governance in relation to the preparation of documents.
Anbalagan P., Secretary, General Administration Department, briefed on the departmental activities.
Ankit Anand, Secretary, Planning and Economic and Statistics Department, also made a presentation. Officials of other departments including Urban Administration, Panchayat and Rural Development Department presented departmental information.
Collectors and NGOs of the districts attended the meeting online.
