RAIPUR,CG: In order to resolve land related disputes in Chhattisgarh, the revenue department will use the new technology geo-referencing. UL PIN number will be given in place of Khasra for land maps. The land holder will get a Bhu-Aadhaar card. A provision of Rs 150 crore has been made in the budget.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has given approval to the use of new technology, provision for it has also been made in the budget. Along with making arrangements for revenue related officials, a strategy is being made for their training for the use of geo referencing technology. To conduct the work of geo-referencing in a systematic manner, new posts of Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar are being created.
In geo-referencing technology, it will become easy to mark the actual land through longitude and attitude of even the smallest land. In view of the land related problems in urban areas, a new survey of the land will be conducted. In urban areas the land scale will be kept at 1:500. Due to it, even the smallest plot of land can be easily recorded in the land map only when there is a dense population in the urban areas. In order to improve revenue administration, there is a plan to make the process of land diversion online.
Initiatives are also being taken to start sub tehsil offices at new places to solve the revenue related problems of the people in their own areas. Similarly, Tehsil offices will also be started in the newly formed sub-divisions. Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma has announced the opening of sub tehsil office at Chakarbhatha in Mungeli district and Sakarra in Takhatpur development block of Bilaspur district.
Necessary preparations have also been started to start Deendayal Upadhyay Landless Agricultural Laborer Scheme.
