RAIPUR,CG: The Fisheries Department, Government of Chhattisgarh has on Thursday issued the notification for imposing ban on fishing from June 16 to August 15, 2024. Assistant Director of Fisheries said in order to provide protection to the fish for their reproduction in the rainy season, all the ponds and water sources in the state which are not connected to rivers and drains, apart from cage culture, all types of fish farming are being done in the reservoirs.
