RAIPUR,CG: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur hosted a dynamic event, ‘Yuva Samvad’, under the nationwide ‘Naya Bharat Utsav’ initiative, celebrating a decade of the Modi government’s achievements. The event saw distinguished leaders engaging with students, focusing on India's progress and future aspirations.
Brijmohan Agrawal, the Chief Guest, addressed a key question from Rahul, a student, about India’s journey to becoming a global leader. Agrawal credited Prime Minister Modi’s strategic foreign policies for fostering mutual respect and collaboration with other nations. He highlighted the ongoing shift of industries from China to India, driven by the country's skilled workforce, as a testament to India's rising global stature.
Dr. NV Ramana Rao, Director of NIT Raipur, emphasized the institute's pivotal role in technological innovation, quoting Prime Minister Modi’s vision for a stronger India through robust educational institutions. He outlined India’s rapid development, from villages to cities, anchored by innovation at the heart of government policies.
Dr. Rajiv Prakash, Director of IIT Bhilai, spoke on the theme ‘Vikshit Bharat @2047’, urging students to contribute to the economy. He highlighted IIT Bhilai's focus on fintech, agritech, and medtech, fostering a startup culture as a means of societal contribution.
Deepak Mahskey from the Ministry of Petroleum reflected on India’s remarkable growth over the past decade, particularly its resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic, encouraging students to continue their efforts toward national progress.
Dr. Shailendra Shukla, Retired Chairman of CSEB, praised the advancements in the energy sector, noting a fourfold increase in electricity generation and the impact of the ‘One Nation, One Grid’ policy.
Dr. Sachidanand Shukla, Vice Chancellor of Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, lauded the government's efforts in economic and infrastructural development, particularly post-demonetization, and its revival of ancient culture to bolster national growth.
The event also featured a photo exhibition, various stalls, and cultural performances, concluding with a vote of thanks by Dr. Anuj Shukla. The event was a success, celebrating India's achievements and envisioning a prosperous future under the "Vikshit Bharat @2047" initiative.
