RAIPUR,CG: Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board is organizing poster and Envirothon competitions with the aim of increasing awareness among students on the occasion of International Ozone Layer Preservation Day on September 16.
This year's theme has been ‘Montreal Protocol-Advancing Climate Action’. The program will be organized on September 16 at 10 am at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, Raipur.
School and college students will participate in the competitions. The theme of this poster competition has been kept as 'Causes and solutions of climate change'. Students of three age groups - 12 to 17 years, 18 to 22 years and disabled people - will participate in this competition. Similarly, the theme of Envirothon competition has been kept as "Trash to Treasure", in which students up to class 12th and students of graduate and post-graduate level will be able to participate. Students who perform excellently in both the above competitions will be awarded attractive cash prizes.
