RAIPUR,CG: Notification has been issued to make Nagar Panchayat Pathalgaon of Jashpur district a municipality. With the publication of the notification, the process of making Pathalgaon a municipality has started. According to the issued notification, the boundaries of Nagar Panchayat Pathalgaon will be the limits of the municipality. In this regard, claims and objections have been invited from the people for 21 days.
The Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai had announced plans to convert Pathalgaon from Nagar Panchayat to Municipality on August 14, 2024, the death anniversary of former Union Minister Kumar Dilip Singh Judev, held at Village Kilkila.
