RAIPUR, CG (INDIA): In a compassionate gesture towards the family of businessman Dinesh Mirania, who was martyred in the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Rajkumar College (RKC) of Raipur has announced that it will bear the full educational expenses of his daughter up to Class 12.
The announcement was made by T.S. Singhdeo, President of the Rajkumar College Governing Body and former Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. He stated that the initiative reflects the institution’s commitment to supporting the families of martyrs, particularly in the field of education. "It is our duty to stand by the families who have made the supreme sacrifice for the nation," Singhdeo said.
Shaheed Dinesh Mirania was cremated with full state honors in Raipur on April 24. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended the ceremony, offering floral tributes and condolences to the grieving family. His presence, along with that of other dignitaries, underscored the profound respect and sorrow felt across the state.
The move by RKC has been widely appreciated and has brought some solace to Mirania's family amidst their immense loss.
