RAIGARH: The second convocation of OP Jindal University was organized on Monday in the chief hospitality of Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uikey. Along with the Governor, Chhattisgarh Private University Regulatory Commission Chairman Umesh Mishra, University Chancellor and JSP Foundation Chairperson Mrs. Shalu Jindal, JSP Managing Director Bimlendra Jha, JSP Raigad Executive Director Sabyasachi Bandopadhyay and OP Jindal of the University. Vice Chancellor Dr. R.D. Patidar conferred degrees to a total of 738 meritorious students in Engineering, Management, and science subjects.
The second convocation ceremony of OP Jindal University located at Capitalpathra in Raigad district was organized in the auditorium of OP Jindal Vidyalaya. Has established its reputation in the education world. He expressed happiness over the fact that students from more than 20 states are getting a better education at OP Jindal University. This gives students coming from different parts of the country an opportunity to understand each other's culture, which is essential for national integration. In OPJU, better work is being done in the direction of research, analysis, and publication.
Ms. Uike exhorted the youth to use their potential in nation-building. she said that whatever you do in life, the interest of the country should always be kept at the forefront. The country has great expectations for the youth and all of you have to fulfill them. She also gave inspiring information about her journey from student leader to the governor in her address. Appreciating the new National Education Policy of the country, the Governor said that better opportunities will be available to the youth. Along with this, it will also help in increasing entrepreneurship in them. She expressed confidence that OP Jindal University would continue its journey toward the pinnacle of excellence.
Shalu Jindal, Chancellor of OP Jindal University and Chairperson of JSP Foundation said in her remarks that this is an important milestone in the lives of the students. In this happiness, along with the hard work of the students, their family and friends also contribute a lot. He told that the founder of OP Jindal Group Omprakash Jindal and the Chairman of JSP Mr. Naveen Jindal had dreamed of setting up a world-class educational institution in Raigad so that the students here could get the opportunity of quality education. To fulfill this dream, OPJIT was established as an engineering college. She expressed happiness that within a few years the College of Engineering has established its reputation as a reputed university not only in the state but in the entire country. While motivating the students, she said that after getting the degree, some students will pursue further studies and some will choose their career path.
Everywhere they will have to face many kinds of challenges. To win from these challenges, the process of learning will always have to be continued. Earlier, OPJU Vice Chancellor Dr. R.D. Patidar presented the annual report of the university while welcoming all the guests to the convocation. He said that in 7 years of its establishment, more than 1800 students from more than 20 states are getting an education in the university. The placement of the institute is more than 85 percent and out of these, about 50 percent of students have got packages of more than Rs.10 lakh from well-known companies of the country on the campus. He expressed confidence that soon OPJU will get A-plus certification from NAAC. A total of 738 students were awarded degrees during the convocation. These include 31 gold, 28 silver, and 27 Bronze medals. During this OP Jindal University family members, students, and their families were present in large numbers.
