Chhattisgarh gets Best Performing State Award

Raipur, CG: Assembly elections were held in five states of the country in November-December 2023, during which awards were announced for officers doing excellent work. Chhattisgarh was also included in these 5 states.

It has been announced to give the Best Performing State Award to Chhattisgarh Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Reena Baba Saheb Kangale.

The name of Vineet Nandanwar, collector of Naxal-affected Dantewada district, is also included in the list of award recipients. Awards have been announced by the Commission in a total of four categories. This includes 2 officers from Chhattisgarh.

Among the five states where assembly elections were held, the cleanest elections were held in Chhattisgarh. Without any controversy, there was no need for recounting anywhere. In the heavily Naxal affected areas of Bastar, security arrangements and surveillance were so tight that the Naxalites could not succeed in their plans. For this reason, the CEO of Chhattisgarh has been selected for the Best Performing State Award among all the five states.

At the same time, the best election management award will be given to the then collector of Dantewada, Vineet Nandanwar.
