RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh Government's Food and Civil Supplies Minister Dayaldas Baghel and Revenue Minister Tankram Verma on Monday inspected the renovation work undertaken at the district headquarters Balodabazar
They took stock of the damage caused by the vandalism and arson incident in the Joint District Office by anti-social elements a few days ago. Former MLAs of Bhatapara Assembly Shivratan Sharma, and Bilaigarh Assembly Dr. Sanam Jangde, Collector Deepak Soni, Superintendent of Police Vijay Aggarwal were present.
The minister duo inspected the outer area of the entire building and various branches of the Superintendent of Police office. Taking stock of the ongoing renovation work in the damaged area, they asked to complete it expeditiously. They also reviewed the applications being taken in the Superintendent of Police office for maintaining the documents of the vehicles damaged during the incident and asked to take necessary steps quickly to get the insurance money to the victims. They also met the victims of the incident and heard their problems. The officials were asked to solve the problem.
