Balodabazar/Raipur: Balodabazar Collector Deepak Soni on Tuesday asked the officials of the Health and Family Welfare Department to ensure that the patients holding Ayushman cards do not face any problem in the treatment under Ayushman Bharat Scheme.

He was holding a meeting in the Joint District Office.

He said Ayushman Bharat Yojana is an important scheme of the government and provides free treatment facilities to the members of poor families. Along with government hospitals, there should be no problem in getting treatment through Ayushman card in total 13 contracted private hospitals in the district.

He said there should not be any hindrance in health facilities in the district. If there is any problem in any particular area, action will be taken as per rules to remove it.

He said that the block medical officers should attend the meetings held by the SDM and tell them any problem related to the health department. He asked to make arrangements for free treatment of the victims and maintain the documents in the unpleasant incident that took place at the district headquarters.

In view of the current situation in the district, the Collector directed to display the mobile number 9479190629 and ambulance call number of the district control room in all the hospitals.

It was asked to make suitable arrangements for proper disposal of bio-waste materials coming out of hospitals. It was called for better preparation in urban and plain areas to prevent seasonal diseases during the rainy season.
