RAIPUR,CG: Leader of Opposition in Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Dr Charan Das Mahant paid a courtesy call on Governor Ramen Deka at Raj Bhavan on Thursday. Korba Lok Sabha Member Jyotsana Mahant was also present.
Leader of Opposition in Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Dr Mahant said that Ramen Deka had represented Lok Sabha Member from Assam in 2009 and at that time, he was also MP from Chhattisgarh. Dr Mahant said that he knows Ramen Deka for years. His appointment as the Governor of Chhattisgarh will speed up the pace of development in the state and the opposition will get the right to respect, he added.
