RAIPUR,CG: Chhattisgarh Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma on Tuesday flagged off the train, marking the departure of a group of 850 devotees on their pilgrimage to Ayodhya Dham.
A special train, is part of the Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana as per the new scheme by the state government after the BJP came to power, set off from platform 07 at Raipur Railway Station.
Engaging in bhajans and kirtans onboard, the devotees created a spiritual ambiance, eagerly awaiting for the Darshan of Shri Ramlala.
The devotees expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai for initiating the scheme that made the pilgrimage possible. “Visiting Ayodhya was once a distant dream for people like us, but thanks to the Chief Minister's initiative, we now have the opportunity to seek blessings at Shri Ramlala's magnificent and beautiful temple in Ayodhya. The journey also includes a visit to the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple, adding to the excitement among the devotees,” said one of the pilgrims.
