RAIPUR/BALODABAZAR: Raipur resident, 91-year-old Gaurishankar Aggarwal, has been a long-time advocate and has also authored a book on the Gram Sabha in Chhattisgarh.
In an era where many are focused on accumulating wealth, Aggarwal has taken a noble step by offering to donate his property for the greater good.
Aggarwal met with Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal on Thursday, expressing his desire to donate his 38-decimal property in Balodabazar district for the construction of a hospital aimed at serving public health needs.
Minister Jaiswal commended Aggarwal’s generous decision and honoured him with a bouquet of flowers. He has also asked the Balodabazar Collector to proceed with the necessary legal steps to facilitate the donation and ensure the hospital’s development.
