‘State Support Mission and Aspirational Totality Campaign’ reviewed

RAIPUR,CG,INDIA: Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain on Monday emphasized the importance of the effective implementation of state government schemes, citing recent successes in both the Sampurnata Abhiyan and the State Support Mission. He urged all concerned departments to accelerate the implementation of these initiatives, encouraging officers to review progress regularly and swiftly address any challenges.

A meeting to review the progress of the State Support Mission and the Aspirational Totality Campaign was chaired by Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain at the Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan. The session saw participation from officials of NITI Aayog, including Director General Nidhi Chhibber, and District Collectors via video conferencing.

Jain stressed the need to raise public awareness about these schemes, instructing officials to organize awareness programs through various channels to ensure that citizens understand their rights and can avail the benefits. He called on the officers to work with renewed energy and engage communities in spreading awareness.

District Collectors from aspirational districts presented updates on their progress under the Sampurnata Abhiyan, sharing innovative strategies to reach targeted beneficiaries. Some departments highlighted improvements in service delivery through digital platforms, while others reported community-based outreach initiatives.

NITI Aayog Director General Nidhi Chhibber emphasized that the Sampurnata Abhiyan aims to ensure that government schemes reach the most marginalized members of society. She stressed that beyond making schemes available, authorities must proactively work to bring them into action, which would open new avenues of development in both rural and urban areas.

Chhibber also urged the establishment of a Monitoring and Evaluation Unit in the state under the State Support Mission and assured full support from NITI Aayog's Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office (DMEO) for its effective implementation.
