RAIPUR,CG,INDIA: A special train under the Shri Ramlala Darshan Scheme, initiated by the Government of Chhattisgarh, departed on Tuesday from platform number 7 of Raipur Railway Station. Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma flagged off the train, which was carrying 850 devotees on a spiritual journey to Ayodhya Dham.
The atmosphere at the station was filled with excitement as the devotees, chanting hymns and singing bhajans, began their pilgrimage. The group is on their way to visit the revered Shri Ramlala temple in Ayodhya, with an additional stop to offer prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi.
During the flag-off ceremony, several dignitaries were present, including Food Minister Dayal Das Baghel, MP Brijmohan Aggarwal, MLA Anuj Sharma, Inder Kumar Sahu, Gajendra Yadav, and officials from the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board and Raipur District Panchayat.
Devotees expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai for making the pilgrimage possible through the special scheme. Many noted that the opportunity to visit Ayodhya would have been difficult without the initiative. The journey promises to be a deeply spiritual experience, as travellers eagerly anticipate visiting the newly constructed Shri Ramlala temple.
