RAIGARH,CG,BHARAT: During his visit to Raigarh, Finance Minister OP Choudhary made a surprise inspection of the Government Higher Secondary School in Pusaur Development Block.
Assessing the school's basic facilities, the Finance Minister announced Rs 20 lakh for the construction of a new laboratory and Rs 2 lakh to enhance the library's book collection.
Addressing the students, especially the girls, Choudhary emphasized the importance of the next four to five years in shaping their futures. He urged them to set clear goals and focus on their studies to achieve success. “We live in a competitive world today. Do not be disheartened by initial setbacks. Focus on your goals with strategic thinking, and success will follow,” he advised.
Highlighting India’s transition from a developing nation to a developed one, the Finance Minister encouraged the students to prepare for emerging career opportunities in various fields. He also shared insights into competitive exam preparation and career options, drawing from his personal experiences and struggles.
The event was attended by Bharat Shadangi, Willis Gupta, Development Block Education Officer A.B. Kerketta, and other prominent members of Pusaur Nagar Panchayat.
Choudhary also distributed career guide books, providing valuable information on higher education, scholarships, competitive exams for government jobs, and student welfare schemes. He noted that the guides would help students broaden their knowledge and make informed decisions about their educational and career paths.
