RAIPUR,CG,BHARAT: An Interschool Drawing Competition was organised in Adarsh Vidyalaya, Devendra Nagar, Raipur on 13 November. The event was conducted as part of the school's Golden Jubilee celebrations.  Students from several known schools of the city participated in the competition. There were four categories with Group A: classes 3 - 5 (Topic - Zoo/Garden), Group B: classes 6 - 8 (Topic - Health is Wealth), Group C: classes  9 - 10 (Topic - Unity in Diversity), Group D: classes 11-12 (Topic - India of my Dreams). 

The students- artists exhibited their inborn talents in drawing and colouring as per the topics given. They displayed their colourful imagination aesthetically, reflecting the charm and beauty of traditional Indian life and the immense possibilities of progress that the nation is capable of.

The trophies and certificates to the winners were given away by the dignitaries of Raipur Kerala Samajam namely, T.C. Shaji, Vice- President RKS, Philip Samuel, Secretary RKS, Sudhish Kumar, School Management Committee RKS and Vinod Kumar, Arts Convenor RKS.

The following students were declared winners of the competition:

Group A- winner - Princy Maheshwari (Adarsh Vidyalaya, Mowa) ,

Runner up - Jigyasa  Arya, (Adarsh Vidyalaya, Tatibandh),

Consolation prize - Nikita Chawda (Adarsh Vidyalaya, Tatiband),

Group B - winner - Urvi Janghel (Deshbandhu School),

Runner up - Aadya Singh  (St. Thomas School), 

Consolation prize - Nischay Ramdev (Adarsh Vidyalaya Tatiband)

Group C- winner - Samridhi Singh  (Adarsh Vidyalaya, Tatibandh),

Runner up - Varsha Parida  (Sant. Dyaneshwar School),

Consolation prize - Taresh Bowade (Chhattisgarh Public School),

Group D - winner - Khushi Sanjay Yadav (Gujarati School),

Runner up - Harshit Shrivastava (Chhattisgarh Public School).

Consolation prize - Vaishnavi Agrawal (Deshbandhu School)

The winners were given away trophies and certificates whereas the participants were appreciated with certificates of participation. The judges were offered mementos as a gesture of thanks.
