RAIPUR,CG,BHARAT: In a significant administrative move, the Public Health and Welfare Department of Chhattisgarh transferred more than 15 medical officers and specialist doctors on Thursday, assigning them new responsibilities. Additionally, three doctors have been appointed as Deputy Directors in charge at the Directorate of Health Services.
Dr. Nageshwar Rao from District Hospital Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Dr. Smriti Dewangan from Community Health Center Khokhopara, and Dr. Dinesh Kumar Sinha, a surgery specialist at District Hospital Pandari, have been elevated to Deputy Director in-charge positions within the Directorate of Health Services.
As part of the reshuffle, Dr. Anil Jagat, the civil surgeon in-charge and chief hospital superintendent at Janjgir-Champa, has been transferred to Raigarh District Hospital as a medical specialist. Meanwhile, Dr. Usha Kiran Bhagat, civil surgeon in-charge and anesthesiologist from Raigarh, has been reassigned to Janjgir-Champa District Hospital.
In addition to these key postings, 15 other doctors have been transferred to various government hospitals across the state to strengthen healthcare services in their respective regions.
