RAIPUR: The 14th tranche of the nationwide Rozgar Mela, part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative to provide employment to 10 lakh youth, was successfully organized on Monday at Men’s Club, Group Centre CRPF, Arang, Raipur.
A total of 381 appointment letters were distributed in Chhattisgarh.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually addressed the Rozgar Mela participants, inspiring the selected candidates and their families with his vision for a prosperous India.
Distinguished Chief Guest Tokhan Sahu, Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs, handed over 25 offers of appointment letters (OOA) to selected candidates.
Senior officials, including Indra Kumar Sahu, MLA Abhanpur Assembly, Amit Kumar, IPS, ADG Central Zone, Ajay Kumar Singh, DIG GC CRPF Raipur, and Dr. A.K. Mahapatra, DIG (Medical) CH Raipur, also graced the occasion.
The remaining 356 OOAs were distributed by senior officers from CRPF, CAPF, and other central government departments. A total of 381 candidates from Chhattisgarh received appointment letters for positions in various Central Government/Public Sector Organizations.
As per the list, CRPF-256, Postal Department-4, CISF-28, Canara Bank-1, State Bank of India-7, Assam Rifles – 27, ITBP – 14, SSB -19, BSF – 17, Hindustan Copper Ltd – 5, and Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya - 3.
The selected candidates, along with their parents and guardians, applauded the efforts of the Prime Minister and expressed their heartfelt gratitude for this initiative. They hailed the Rozgar Mela as a crucial step in realizing the dream of ‘Vikshit Bharat’ by creating opportunities for the youth.
