BILASPUR,INDIA: The High Court of Chhattisgarh has directed 526 judicial officers in the state to submit comprehensive details of their assets within the prescribed timeframe. Registrar General (Vigilance) Alok Kumar issued instructions to the Principal District and Sessions Judges across all districts to ensure compliance.
Judicial officers are required to prepare details of their movable and immovable assets acquired up to December 31, 2024. These details must be submitted in the prescribed format both via email and registered post to the High Court by February 28, 2025.
District and Sessions Judges have been tasked with collecting, scrutinizing, and forwarding the property details of their subordinate officers to the High Court within the stipulated deadline. Judicial officers are prohibited from submitting their asset details in person at the High Court. Any failure in the process will result in the concerned District and Sessions Judge being held accountable.
The submission includes details of movable assets such as jewelry, bank deposits, shares, investments, fixed deposits, PPF, GPF, NSS, and other financial holdings. Judicial officers must also provide information on immovable assets, including land and houses, along with explanations of their sources of acquisition.
