RAIPUR,INDIA: The 86th Senior National and Interstate Table Tennis Competition-2024, organized by the Gujarat State Table Tennis Association under the aegis of the Indian Table Tennis Federation, will be held in Surat from January 19 to 26, 2025.
The Chhattisgarh senior men’s and women’s teams for the event were officially announced by Sharad Shukla, Vice President of the Chhattisgarh Olympic Association. Canadian Masters badminton player and former state badminton player Rahul Tamrakar, along with association officer Vinay Baiswade and other officials, extended their congratulations to the team and expressed confidence in their performance.
The Chhattisgarh teams departed on Friday, accompanied by coach P.N. Majumdar (Raipur) and manager Gitanjali Pathak (Durg). International umpire Praveen Nirapure (Raipur) has also been selected to officiate in the competition.
The team members are Senior Men: Arjun Malhotra (Raipur), Pranay Chauhan (Raipur) Arindam Debnath (Raipur), Sagar Ghatge (Captain, Raipur), and Rajeev Sahu (Raipur)
Senior Women members are Sushmita Som (Captain, Bilaspur), Pragya Pathak (Durg), Surabhi Modi (Raipur), Lavanya Pandey (Raipur), and Deepti Mandavi (Kondagaon).
