RAIPUR,INDIA: Parampal Singh of Chhattisgarh clinched the silver medal in the men’s Skeet individual event at the 38th National Games, which commenced in Uttarakhand on January 28.
Competing in the National Shooting Competition held in Rudrapur, Dehradun, Parampal secured second place with an impressive score of 51 points, adding another prestigious medal to his long list of achievements.
A total of ten shooters from Chhattisgarh were selected by the Chhattisgarh State Rifle Association for the National Games. The selection was based on previous performance records, achieved scores, and top rankings, ensuring a strong representation for the state.
With over 22 years of experience in competitive shooting, Parampal has consistently delivered remarkable performances. He previously won a gold medal at the 2011 National Games in Jharkhand and a bronze medal at the Kerala National Games. His latest silver medal further cements his legacy in Indian shooting and serves as an inspiration for aspiring shooters in Chhattisgarh.
