RAIPUR,INDIA: The three-tier Panchayat elections in Chhattisgarh have progressed to their concluding phase. Following the elections for Gram Panchayats, Janpad Panchayats, and Zila Panchayats, the focus now shifts to electing the Presidents and Vice Presidents of these bodies. The Panchayat Directorate has issued directives to all district collectors, mandating that the elections for these positions be conducted between March 4 and March 12, 2025. This period will also encompass the inaugural meetings of the respective Panchayats.
Earlier, the Panchayat elections were held in three phases on February 17, 20, and 23, 2025, with the results declared on February 18, 21, and 24, respectively.
The successful completion of these elections has paved the way for the forthcoming selection of leadership within the Panchayati Raj institutions.
