Ambedkar Hospital gears up for summer

RAIPUR,CG(INDIA): In response to the soaring summer temperatures, Drbedkar Hospital Superintendent Dr. Santosh Sonkar conducted a thorough inspection of the hospital’s infrastructure on Thursday, focusing specifically on cooling systems and patient comfort.

During his visit, Dr. Sonkar reviewed the functionality of fans, coolers, air conditioners, and duct cooling systems installed in various wards and OPDs. He instructed the Maintenance Department to promptly repair any non-functional units and replace outdated equipment to ensure patients receive relief from the heat.

He emphasized that departments and wards with existing complaints about cooling equipment must be addressed without delay. In addition to cooling systems, Dr. Sonkar also reviewed the water supply and drinking water arrangements, instructing that all water coolers be checked and made fully operational. He also ordered adequate water supply arrangements to be ensured throughout the hospital.

The inspection revealed that taps in bathrooms adjacent to wards and OPDs were damaged, resulting in water wastage. Dr. Sonkar called for immediate repairs to prevent further loss and to maintain hygiene.

According to hospital staff, new air conditioners have been installed in the trauma and emergency ward on the ground floor, improving conditions in high-priority areas. The Superintendent has asked the Maintenance Department to expedite all ongoing repair and maintenance work across the hospital premises.

This proactive move aims to enhance patient care and comfort during the intense summer months and reflects the hospital administration’s commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for all.
