RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh will observe National Nutrition Month from September 1 to 30, 2023.
The discussion on participation of all the departments and voluntary organisations were discussed in an inter-departmental convergence meeting held in the Directorate of Women and Child Development on Friday.
All the departments and officials of non-government organisations assured to extend cooperation for making the event a success. The discussion underlined the need for reducing the level of malnutrition and anaemia.
‘Poshan Maah’ is organized every year in the country in September as a public movement to increase public awareness and for widespread publicity and effective behavior change related to health, nutrition and cleanliness to the masses.
