RAIPUR: It has been made mandatory for obtaining a new registration mark for Chhattisgarh for vehicles coming to the state from across the country. The last date is September 20, 2023.
Transport Department, Chhattisgarh in a statement said vehicles arriving from other states of the country need to bring No Objection Certificate from the concerned state. The change of address was registered in any transport office of Chhattisgarh in the past but has not obtained a new registration mark of the state.
The vehicle owners have to pay the prescribed fee online through the vehicle portal. The physical verification has to be done. If the deadline is now followed, stern action will be initiated under the Motor Vehicles Act and Rules.
