CG NEWS: ‘SDG Dashboard’ sets year-wise target-based for development: Tekam

RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh State Planning Commission Chairman Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam on Friday said that ‘SDG Dashboard’ includes year-wise target-based and district-based analysis of the Sustainable Development Goals.

He was holding reviewing the framework and the SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) dashboard developed by the Commission. He also released the evaluation report of the state government's ambitious schemes such as Mukhyamantri Haat-Bazar Clinic Yojana, Mukhyamantri Slum Swasthya Sahayta Yojana, Mukhyamantri Suposhan Abhiyan and Godhan Nyaya Yojana.

He said the dashboard will help all the districts and the concerned departments to self-evaluate and move faster towards the goal. The report and the dashboard of the Commission will guide the Collectors, Chief Executive Officers of District Panchayats and Heads of Departments in identifying the constraints of development and implementing their strategies based on data based evidence.

Keeping in mind the progress displayed through the dashboard, all the concerned departments and district officers will be able to effectively monitor various schemes, he said.

These reports and dashboards have been prepared by the State Planning Commission in coordination with the concerned departments. Tekam expressed hope that all departments and district officers will regularly review their progress on the basis of this framework and ensure achievement of the targets set as per the SDGs. Vice Chairman of State Planning Commission Ajay Singh, Member-Secretary Anoop Kumar Srivastava and senior officials of the Commission were also present.
