RAIPUR,CG: Retired Justice of High Court of Chhattisgarh Inder Singh Uboweja on Tuesday took oath of office as the Pramukh Lokayukta of the state.
Governor Ramen Deka administered the oath of office to Justice (Retd.) Uboweja at a function held at Raj Bhawan. He succeeded Justice (Retired) T P Sharma.
Following the oath, Governor Deka and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai congratulated Uboweja with a floral bouquet.
The Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, MP Brijmohan Agrawal, former MP Sunil Soni, other public representatives, former Chief Lokayukta TP Sharma, and other senior administrative and police officials, and the family members of Uboweja participated.
